The Golf Course at Chedington has evolved over the course of its life from an extremely long 9 hole course - where strength and distance were the dominating features - into a balanced 18 hole layout that requires both power and accuracy in equal measure.

A contrasting mix of generous, open holes which require a long ball, and tight, contoured holes that place emphasis on ball flight and accuracy, the course at Chedington Court provides an enjoyable challenge to all players, regardless of handicap.

Dense forest borders the Course and provides a stunning backdrop to your round, as well as forming a considerable hazard for the wayward shot. With a combination of undulating, shaped fairways and small greens to find, the test is almost as much one of patience as it is technique. Use your shots to help you and don't try to overpower the holes, and you'll reap the rewards come the 19th.

The noticeable lack of road noise or other man made distractions only serve to add to the experience. It's no wonder that "Fore!" magazine named Chedington "one of the prettiest golf courses in England."

In Summertime the beauty of the location really comes into its own. You can hit a shot out towards the deep forest, then watch it climb into the blue sky before dropping again (hopefully where you planned!).
